2 million Mexican Free Tail Bats emerging from under the bridge at dusk,2 stages of live music, over 75 arts & Crafts Vendors, Food, Drinks, Children's Activities, costume contest, and Bat activities. Free Admission!
Bats are unpredictable creatures but usually start flying between 7:00 - 8:30. Flight can last about 1/2 hour as as up to 2 million Mexican Free Tail Bats emerge for their nightly flight. Bat Conservation International will have live bats and an education (coloring and videos) room in the Hyatt!

But wait! That's not all. This is also a beer tasting event. Professional and home brewers will be showcasing their suds and discussing the art of brewing.
Beer Game competitions include activities like Washers, flip cup, corn hole, Coaster Flipping, Empty Keg Tossing, Beer Trivia, Beer Pong and more. Austin Home Brew will do 2 live brewing demonstrations on stage unveiling the art and chemistry of brewing beers. There will be a Q&A session during and after the demonstrations .
If the Bar B Que and Beer is not enough for you, listen to some great Texas music while you eat and drink. The event will feature two stages with continuous live music and an Aritisan Lane for your shopping pleasure.

We are Opening the Doors to all Bands that need a place to play during the big Music Convention going on March 17, 18, 19. The Cedar Door is a one of a kind local Bar and Restaurant that was established in Austin in 1975! This World Famous location is just 2 blocks from the Austin Convention Center and Convention headquarters. The Cedar Door is closing their parking lot for this Special event. We will place a state of the art, $90,000 all aluminum mobile stage in the lot with a world class JBL sound system, with 32 channel Allen & Heath FOH, crown power, and a professional sound engineer. Stage will have LED Cans, Par Cans, and LED washes. We also have pro backline for this event. As you know, backline is super hard to find in Austin during this event. We will provide a Fender Twin, Fender Blues Deville, SWR Redhead Deluxe 4x10, and a Full Rogers Kit with Cymbals. Load in is close and we provide stage hands!

Public Admission: FREE
Hours: Noon to 2am!
All bands are invited to perform. All bands will be reviewed to make sure they are appropriate for the venue.
Fees for your band to perform:
Solo acoustic indoor spots $75
Noon to 5pm time slots $250
5pm to 2am time slots $350
Time slots are 30 minutes, but if more time is available we will allocate it evenly.
